Bringing Canadian Wine Across the U.S.-Michigan Border
You may bring one liter of wine back with you from Canada duty free, if it's for personal consumption and you're 21 years of age or older. If you bring back more than one liter (essentially one bottle), you simply need to pay an IRS tax of 21 cents per liter regardless of how much the wine costs.
